WHY JOIN CIC?

If we want to see improvement, we must become "infrastructure activists." There are numerous ways you can become involved in building support for adequate infrastructure funding.

First, commit your organization to join in the California Infrastructure Coalition mission. Your contribution enables the California Infrastructure Coalition to create, share and use the communication tools necessary to build support for infrastructure investment.

Second, participate at the regional level. You can help to bring the infrastructure message to decision makers, media and the public in your region and bring your region's perspective to state-level decision makers.

Third, document and share the infrastructure story in your community. Photos, video, data and case studies ultimately tell the story in the most convincing terms. Those who do the best job detailing the need are the most likely to get the resources to meet it.

Take action. Communicate the need to the stakeholders and policymakers who determine infrastructure investment in your region and the across the state.
